Final Project 1st Update

For my final project, I want to find a variety of ways to photograph my top five desires that I have thought a lot about: peace, space, love, community and adventure. At this point in my life, I have been putting a lot of thought into what I want out of life after college and what I am lacking now that I have been desiring for a long time. With our world in so much chaos now, I feel like we are all always longing for peace, but that looks different for everyone. This time has also showed me how important community is as well and how much we all need each other. Space is something I have recently realized that I desired after living with four roommates for 3 years and also being stuck in Baton Rouge most of my life. I have realized how important it is for me to have my own personal space as well as get out and enjoy different open spaces every once in a while. Love is a desire we all inherently have and is something we are always in search of. Lastly, adventure is something that I personally need to feel fully alive and something that I have not had nearly enough of the past few years and it is a real desire for me at this point in my life.

For this topic, I have started photographing some subjects depicting these desires, but I have not yet started printing. I went on a trip this past weekend to the mountains, and there I found that many pictures I was taking encompassed multiple of the desires I had mentioned. In those mountains, I found space, adventure, peace and community. Therefore, I will add multiple of those pictures that do not have to only depict one desire, but all in one. Here are a few that I am thinking about adding.
