Chlorophyll Project 2nd Update

The chlorophyll project has been extremely fun but also confusing thus far. Early this week, we had two very sunny days before yet another hurricane came. I used those days to get as much done with this project as I could and hoped I would finish. On Sunday, I put out all five of my prints on leaves and waited to see how they would turn out. I used two banana leaves, two elephant ear leaves, and one other big leaf that I don't know the name of. Since it was very full sun, I checked the progress after only a few hours and I found that the two elephant ear leaves fully developed, the random leaf completely died, and the banana leaves didn't develop at all. Because of the success with the elephant ears, I redid the other three failed photos on the elephant ears the next day. Only one slightly turned out. Then again today, I redid the last two the same way I have done the rest, and they did not turn out at all. I really do not know what happened or why there were such dramatic differences in the results with the exact same technique. I am thinking it just had to do with the sun. On that note, I will try again a few more times this weekend and hope I can achieve something a little better than I have now!
