So far for my anthotypes project, I have gotten the transparent prints that I will be using to layer on top of the paper and I have coated all the paper with my plant material. The plant material I used was spinach, blackberries and raspberries (since they were out of blueberries at the store). Getting the just the juice out of the plant material was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The strainer I was using was not working, so the next day I had to go get a cotton cloth. This process finally worked and I was able to get all three of my plant material juice.

After this, I started brushing all of the plant material onto the cotton paper and did a few coats on each.

This whole process took longer than expected, so I will have to wait until I get back in town on Saturday to do the actual bleaching in the sun part. From my classmates, I am hearing that it is taking much much longer to bleach than expected, so I am hoping that I will have enough time this weekend to lay it out in the sun for the whole time and get something to actually show up.
